What does a volunteer day involve?
Your team will get hands-on, helping us prepare essential items, depending on our current needs, activities may include:
- Pack essential items for children, including clothing, toys and toiletries
- Clean and prepare donated items such as cots, prams, high chairs and car seats
- Greet and thank donors dropping off much-needed items at our warehouse
- Assemble new equipment, such as prams and other essential items
- Sort and organise donations to help us efficiently prepare items for distribution
Every task, big or small, helps us get essential items where they are needed most.
